My approach to Massage and Healing

​Life for me is about relationships, with myself, partner, family, friends and my extended family–humanity. Through deepening our relationships we uncover the beauty and harmony within us all, and we re-discover how to build a bridge toward healing all the forms of separation we feel within ourselves and with each other.

Whether it be with Aged care Massage, Oncology and Palliative care massage, or working with people of all ages or caring and nursing a person (which includes communication with the person’s family at a very vulnerable time) all of this confirms that humanity is one family and that we all experience life, our hurts and healing in very similar ways.

What I find most in my work is how common it is for people to be craving genuinely caring contact.

So often people have previously experienced inappropriate contact, or contact that is imposing. From the child being told to give their uncle a kiss on the cheek when they don’t feel to, to the way that people might experience being roughly washed and scrubbed by a care-assistant that is rushing, to a complete absence of genuine caring touch in their life altogether, to the sexual abuse that so many people experience in childhood and adulthood.

In truth everyone craves contact that comes with no expectation and a deep care. The healing quality of hands on healing with energetic integrity is central to the work I do and the quality of presence I am in and bring to each person who I work with supports the deep surrender that many report feeling from the massage and healing sessions.​

Dementia and Mental Health issues

Dementia and mental health issues are a personal interest, and I bring a knowing and gentle quality of being and presence to the client, their partners and their family members.

Aged Care Massage and Aged Care Services

I have worked as an assistant in nursing in Aged Care and High Care facilities and today work extensively as a carer for the elderly, in palliative care services and provide support to families who have a loved one who is dying.

Remedial Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Oncology Massage

Yasmin Lang provides a range of massage services including Remedial Massage, Oncology Massage and Esoteric Massage. She finds massage of the arms and hands to be a deeply soothing treatment for the elderly or people who are bed-ridden.

Yasmin Lang also has a busy practice doing Byron Bay mobile massage for holiday makers in her home town and has a number of people who work with her during the peak holiday season.
