Aged Care and Palliative Care Massage
Hand and Foot Treatments – Reflexology
The condition of the feet reflects the state of the body. The treatment is gentle and loving, supporting you in bringing true connection and wellbeing to yourself. The gentle massage of upper and lower legs, if desired, helps relieve pain.
Chronically ill patients benefit immensely from having their hands massaged, particularly in palliative care. After all, simple touch and comforting communication are healing and having one’s hands gently held can bring about a pronounced sense of calmness. Similarly Alzheimers and Dementia patients can also benefit greatly.
Gentle Facial Massage
A relaxing tender way to clear tension from wrinkled brows to tight jaws, soothing the whole body.
All gentle massages can be done in a seated or semi-seated position or on a massage table which makes them ideal for people who are able to get out of bed for a short period of time, who are bed-ridden or in a wheelchair.
N.B. To determine the best care for you, it is required that you seek your doctor’s approval.
Health Fund rebates apply where applicable.

Innermost Harmony Massage supports both the able bodied elderly as well as the frail and bedridden or those who can only get up for a short while.
Massage encourages a better quality of life especially for people who are ill, and after surgery or cancer treatment; massage helps to relax, can reduce some of the symptoms and leaves a person in a more positive state, allowing you to just be.
My service is aimed specifically at people who lack the mobility or opportunity to travel to a massage therapist and I offer my sessions in private homes, retirement villages, aged care facilities, hospitals and in palliative care.
During the session, the body will begin to release stress, tension, emotions, hardness and the need to control. Gentle Massage relaxes the nervous system and allows you to experience stillness through being with you.
